November 18 -- The Varsity Falcons defeated the Vista Panthers 2-1 in the CIF Division I Semifinals in Falcon Stadium this afternoon.  The first goal was on a short corner. Rachel hit a rocket that slammed into the Panther GK and bounced high, then Casan seemed to snag the ball out of mid-air and tapped it into the goal. The second was from a ball hit by Griz that rolled by the Panther GK, then AJ was well-placed to tap it in.

November 15 -- The Varsity Falcons won their first game in the CIF Division I field hockey playoffs, defeating the San Pasqual Eagles 5-1 in the Quarterfinals in Falcon Stadium.  Goals were by Griz (3), Audrey, and AJ with an excellent assist by Megan.  Check out the short video!

November 11 -- The Varsity Falcons lost to Scripps Ranch 0-3 in only their second loss of the season.  Earlier in the season, Torrey Pines defeated Scripps Ranch in the Serra Tournament. 

November 9 -- The Varsity Falcons shut out the Uni Dons 3-0 in Falcon Stadium.  Goals were by Kelley, AJ, Danielle. 

November 3 -- The Varsity Falcons scored a victory over the Rancho Bernardo Broncos 3-1 at RBHS.  Goals were by AJ, Griz, Heather. JV was ahead 1-0 when we left the field.

November 2 -- The Varsity Falcons battled back and forth with the La Costa Canyon Mavericks this afternoon, ending with a 0-0 tie at the end of regulation play, and the game remained scoreless at the end of overtime.  The contest was ultimately decided in strokes in the last bit of remaining daylight, where the Mavericks pulled ahead of the Falcons. 

The JV Falcons tied the JV Mavericks 0-0 in two 10-minute halves.  The game was cut short due to darkness.

October 28 -- The Varsity Falcons shut out the Mt. Carmel Sundevils 12-0 in Falcon Stadium!  Goals were by Kadie, Kelley, Jess, Danielle, Heather (2), and six more (will add these soon). 

October 26 -- The Varsity Falcons shut out the Westview Wolverines 8-0 in Falcon Stadium!  Goals were by AJ (2), Griz, Marianne, Kelley, Heather, and two more. 

October 19 -- The Varsity Falcons shut out the Rancho Bernardo Broncos 7-0 in Falcon Stadium!  Goals were by Audrey, Marianne (2), Casan, Danielle (2), and Erin. 

October 14 -- The Varsity Falcons beat rival La Costa Canyon 2-1 tonight in an exciting game in Falcon Stadium!  Goals were all in the first half by "Wiley" (Heather) and "Goggs" (Danielle).   JV shut out the LCC JV team 2-0!

October 12 -- The Varsity Falcons shut out Mt. Carmel about 7-0 today at Black Mountain Middle School!  (We don't have the exact score, we had approximately 7 goals, Mt. Carmel definitely had zero.)

October 7 -- The Varsity Falcons shut out Westview 10-0 today in Wolverine Stadium! 

October 5 -- The Varsity Falcons shut out University City 6-0 today in Falcon Stadium.  Goals were by AJ (2), Marianne, Jane, Gris, and one more (was it Danielle - Goggs? or Rachel).

October 2 -- The Falcons are the champions of the 2004 Serra Field Hockey Tournament, defeating San Dieguito Academy (2-0), Scripps Ranch (in strokes), and Vista (3-0)!  The excitement is hard to describe, click on the video links to see for yourself (wmv files, uses Windows Media Player).

October 1 -- Congratulations! Varsity was victorious again today with a 1-0 shutout over Rancho Buena Vista!   AJ scored our goal.

September 28 -- Congratulations Varsity for the 3-0 shutout over San Dieguito Academy!   Goals were by Jane Mitchell, Danielle Neault, and Heather Wiley.  Congratulations JV for their 6-0 shutout over San Dieguito Academy JV! Goals were by Natalie-2, Mara-1, Tori-1, Sofia-1 and ? -1.

September 23 -- Congratulations Varsity on their victory in overtime 2-1!  The score was 1-1 at the end of normal play.  Danielle Neault scored the goal in normal play and the winning stroke in sudden-death overtime. 

September 21 -- Congratulations Varsity on their win over the Vista Panthers 2-1!  Danielle Neault scored both goals off short corners. 

September 18 -- Congratulations Varsity, what a fantastic showing at the Serra Tournament!! Varsity was not scored upon the entire day.  They opened by shutting out Rancho Buena Vista 2-0 on the main field, then after an hour rest they came back with a sound 5-0 victory over Valley Center.  They finished the day with a third shut-out beating East Lake 4-0. 

September 15 -- Congratulations Varsity, for narrowly edging Serra 1-0 in strokes!!  The game was scoreless until shooting strokes.  JV lost to the Serra JV team in strokes.

September 13 -- Congratulations Varsity, for a 2-1 victory over San Pasqual! JV won 1-0 in strokes!

September 10 -- Congratulations Varsity on the 3-0 shutout against Mira Mesa! The first goal was by Casan and the second two were by AJ. Also congratulations JV on their 5-0 shutout against the Mira Mesa JV team!
